I use valvoline 5w30; however, I just found out Napa brand oil is the same exact thing as valvoline, so i guess i use Napa 5w30 now.

just changed oil yesterday.

Castrol High mileage use 10w-30 or valvoline Maxlife...ur motor has alot of miles. By using high mileage oil....it will condition all your seals

I work at Valvoline and recommend Valvoline Maxlife 10w30 Synthetic. I has additives in it to help reseal. IMO it is def worth it!

Yea its not that you CANT use synthetic, but if the car hasent been ran with it then there could cause some seals to leak. Synthetic has cleaning agents in it that break grime on the seals of your motor. Sometimes thats all thats whats stopping them from leaking.

the cold weights (the first number) has more to do with climate than anything else. Synthetic vs. non-synthetic can be debated until the second coming. I run synthetic because it gives me peace of mind...

My 5th gen. had some major oil burning issues when I first bought it with 70k miles,The previous owner used synthetic 5w-30. it now has 115k and I use castrol 20w-50 and it doesnt burn any oil between oil changes(every 3,000 miles).

If you have a stock h22a1. And 160K+
Go to honda and get some OEM oil.
Best for the car at this point I would say.
