Default Posting up some pix of my sol-------at last!

I've been getting around to posting up some pix of my sol and finally stopped being lazy and got 'em up. Being that its still a project for me, its far from done. Actually the sol is about to be hauled off to be repainted and a little more engine work to be done. let me know what u think.
Make: 94 si
Mods:
jdm b16a sirII swap
exedy stage 2 clutch
ctr .25 overbore pistons (soon to be 82mm ctr's )
spoon sports adjustable cam gears
b&m adjustable fuel pressure regulator
gsr fuel injectors
type r header
16" konig monsoons
costum amber corners (needs new ones)
partial extreme dimensions body kit (side skirts and rear lip)
VIS carbon fiber hood
lower 2 1/2" on goldline springs
costom gauges inside (air/fuel, nitrous pressure, and reverse style gauges in clauster)
apexi n1 exhaust

what the sol looked like when speed didn't matter

i was going to go with this front bumper, but living in WV the pot holes thought different

here's the sol now, in dire need of a new coat of paint

and finally here's what brings the sol to life

I'm thinking about going with a type r or mugen style front lip, but i'm planning on doing some scca racing this summer so i might hold off on that for a while anyways.

Im not feeling the body kit and the engine bay needs to be painted either black or the same color as the car. Other than that its not too bad.

i'm going to paint the engine bay black while i've got it out this spring for work. because it's still winter, and i don't have a garage handy, i really don't get much of a chance to work on my projects this time of the year. oh yeah, yes there are two sets of wheels on it right now. i know, i know, that's pretty ghetto, but before i put it under the cover last fall, i had a blow-out on my 16's. one of my buddies was cool enough to lend me a couple of his rims till it comes back out in the spring. i've got a new set of rubber on the way, but like i said, it's still ***** numbing cold here so i'm not too worried right now.

oh yeah one more thing, i've done some searching for some new body pieces, and found a type r style lip and side skirts on JDM ****.com. The parts are for an eg hatch, so i might invest in those as well. from what i've heard they're not too difficult to retro-fit onto a sol.
