WHATS this clacking noise?? HELP!

i drive a 97 CX HATCHBACK with a d15b motor. when i accelerate up to about 20 mph it makes a loud clacking noise coming from the drivers side. the noise is like a rapid clacking noise but it stops after about 20-30 mph. HELP PLEASE!!!

Jack your car up and check the axles, sounds like it might be a bad axle.
