Default AEM SOHC CAM Tuning

I have a mildly modified d16z6 (intake, header, straight pipe exhaust from header, Underdrive pulley, alternator pulley, vtec controller, AEM fuel rail and pressure regulator, rc310cc injectors, Nology Hotwire spark plug wires, Full MSD ignition system, and AEM cam)

I was wondering how to tune it? and get the most HP and torque out of it, I want most of my power to hit at 4000 rpms because thats where I set my vtec at. does anyone know how many degrees i need to advance it or retarted it to make most of my power 4000rpms and up?

'I blew my motor, what went wrong?'

honestly, youre just adding parts and guessing what to do....

your best bet is going to a dyno and spending $250 to get it tuned.... probably worth more than any part youre bolting on at this point.

well seriously..... assuming he bought all of his parts new. he's spent a lot of money.

when instead he couldve ditched a pulley or two, put it on the dyno and made WAY more reliable power. probably cost less too.....

just not as flashy i guess when he pops his hood.

yeah i agree with you... within a week of me dropping my boosted Y8 in my car its going straight to South Florida Performance for a dyno session ... its too bad though that i have a huge t3/t4 hanging off it and an safc/ RC 370 cc injectors to control fuel for right now
