how do I remove the center cap off my 94 GSR rims?
i did a search but I didn't find a thread that described how to remove it. I am planning to put honda emblems on and the centercaps would look funny after. I read something about an Id card? and you have to push it out from the inside?
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I tried to pry them out from the front but it looked like the cap would be damaged by the screwdriver so I guess I'm going to have to take all the wheels off to get my center caps off. Anyone know of anyone trying to get rid of some Si centercaps?
If you know anyone that is a machinist, you can have them shave off the very top layer. I had my dad do it and it took off just the engraved logo and left a nice smoooth, polished cap. No markings or anything.
I think the Honda dealer sells them for $40 for the 4 center caps. I had a friend who put on the Si center caps on her 94 GSR rims and for some reason they didnt fit quite right. They were recessed into the rim maybe about another 1/8th to 1/3rd of an inch.
Another method you could use is get a strong small suction cup and just pull off the acura center cap. But your best bet is taking off the rim and pushing it out with a screw driver.
