HEy so i threw a rod in my turbo d, here is the piston! what exactly caused this? just rod broke, or is it something tuning related

is it a stock rod? how much hp r you running? d series rods are thin, they can't take to much abuse

 

We need a little more information on the speicifcs of the blowout. What RPM? What boost? What fuel map? What standalone engine management? What internals?
