Anyone here own a SHELBY car alarm, supposedly new on the market. Has pager, battery back up, but not too sure how it is compare to alarms made by DEI..

They're okay, get decent range. But I prefer DEI. DEI has better looking remotes. DEI uses one hood pin input for both remote start safety and as a trigger.

It's kind of a cross between the Compustar and DEI, like they reverse engineered them both. It's about the same quality of the Compustar, which I consider to be just a step below Viper/Python.

I picked up a Shelby CS-500S w/ LCD remote pager and trunk pop for $300 installed over the weekend. It was going into the 06 TSX, the guy said I needed some extra stuff inorder for the trunk pop to work because I can't carry over the trunk pop from the factory garbage alarm......
