Rear glass wire antenna in '99 EX sedan real weak?
The stock wire antenna mounted in the glass of the rear window has a hard time pulling in STRONG radio stations. Is there vany way to boost it?
Um, as far as I know, the antenna is on your A-pillar. There weren't wire antennas until 2001.
Are you shure you don't need to just extend the antenna from the base?

Maybe the PO redid it when he installed teh $2,000+ stereo in the car. But there is NO A-pillar antenna in my girl's '99 fully loaded EX sedan. And it has the inbedded wires in a strange pattern on the top 1/4 of the rear window that do NOT HEAT-UP to defrost the window?

Well, that's a possibility then. It's definitely not factory. I didn't know there was a conversion to wire antenna kits out there either. Did you pull out the radio to see if there is an antenna hooked up? I know alot of people shave the a pillar and just run without one.
