is the alarm on the right good? i forgot what brand it was



guy wants $325 installed non-remote start with glass break sensor.

1 LCD pager remote
keyless entry
shock sensor
glass break sensor
door trigger
starter kill
etc..


how much is this alarm w/o installation? good deal or rip off?

 

Looks like the Audiovox junks we install at Best Buy... Go with a DEI product of a Compustar if you're looking for something good...

 

I have never really messed with audiovox except for once installed an alarm r.s. combo. All i remember is to program the thing the directions read somthing like this.....

To enter programming mode: Turn the car on then hold the brake and hit the left blinker, wait 3 relay clicks then release brake and active the hazards. When the blinker fluid light come on honk the horn 2 times and pump the gas pedal 4 times. Turn car off. Now your in program mode.

Feature menue 1: Turn the dimmer switch half way down then hit your mileage reset button .......


Long story short, it was confusing

 

^^^^ got that right. programing the tach is a bi$ch. If I not misstaken arnt both of thoses the same alarm up top. The aps 996old, 977new come with both of thoses controlers.

Oh yea don't pay regular price for any alarm, I work at bestbuy haha, they mark it up a lot believe me
