Default fuel

with a b16a swap in a 91 civic dx what would be the weakest part of the fuel system that i should worry about first(apex v-afc/fuel pump/injectors) and what is the correct fuel pressure for a 89 jdm b16a

I have an apexi vafc in my car, along with a spoon chipped ecu (vtec on the spoon is 4400 which was way too low) and i seem to be running good so far on stock 150k mi pump and stock b16a injectors. I dont think ill ever max the injectors out with what i plan to do (cams, s2 mani, etc...) but i do have a 99 si fuel pump that will be going in sometime in the near future. Id say get your mods on, take it to a dyno with a wideband 02 and tune your a/f curve correctly and you wont have any problems.

Your fuel pressure should be around 42-46 psi at WOT. (vac. line off the regulator & plugged)

I think the fuel pump is going to be the first thing to worry about. I wouldn't worry too much about the pump until you start doing some heavier mods to the motor.
