As the South Florida NHRA Sport Compact Nationals, scheduled for April 1–2 at Moroso Motorsports Park, approaches, the Sport Compact Tech Committee would like to present a reminder to all competitors.

Anyone with plans to construct a new car or make modifications to an existing one is strongly urged to initiate communication with the NHRA Tech Department. Oftentimes a few photographs or even a simple phone call to ask the question “Can I do this to my race car?” can save a competitor the time, money and aggravation. In this age of digital cameras and e-mail, there is absolutely no reason not to take these few extra steps.

To encourage confidential communication between competitors and the NHRA Tech Department a new link has been added to the home page of NHRASportCompact.com under the rules section.
