Default Solve this one!

I have a 94 ls obd-1. I bought a factory alarm system from a 94 gsr obd-1. SO i thought the alarm would fit. well it does! the only problem is my car wont start with the alarm installed! I went throught the A-K wiring harness (p/n 08E55-ST7-201)and tried to start my car with each pull of a plug. and bammm! i found it, its harness "G". Just so everyone reading knows the harness has a male and female harness for each plug one to plug stock harness into alarm harness then alarm harness to the stock harness input. SO I just kept the stock harness in the "G" spot. my car runs with the entire harness inplace except "G", but now the alarm doesn't work. It is a 7 pin harness with 3-8 gauge wire and 4-20 gauge wires (im pretty sure on wire size). Anyone know whats going on!!

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Devo94ac &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">wont turn over!</TD></TR></TABLE> I would say the starter cut relay is missing or defective, it would probably be on one of the thicker, ["3-8 gauge wire"] although I don't think they are 8ga, 10ga or 12ga maybe, anyway, do you have a link or a pix of the harness. Where in the LS is the 7 pin plug?, I would assume the plug has power, [that's why alarm doesn't work when not plugged in] and starter, [that's why motor will not turn over when plugged in, and assuming the relay is missing or defective] also what color are the 3 thick wires on oem harness? 94

The plug you show in the first pix thick white and black/white wires and 2 thinner blue/white wires, with the yellow plug just to the left of it, the white is constant power to the ign. switch and the black/white is the starter wire out of the ign. switch, if that is the plug you are talking about, and the two plugs in the last 3 pix are the "T" plugs of the Alarm, and if like you say when the "T" harness is plugged into the cars harness everything works except the starter, I would carefully fallow the black/white wire on the alarms "T" harness, [from either plug] and find the starter cut relay, or the break in that wire. 94

ok so today I took a multimeter out and began trying to find where the bad connection was, both relays are fine all the wires are intact, but still the "T" harness labeled "G" has other wires coming out if it that I do not have on my stock harness can anyone help me to figure out how to do this? refer to other post new pictures added!

The black/white wire is the starter, have you tried checking for power on both ends of "T" harness when they are plugged in and you are trying to start the car?

Does the black/white wire go through one of the relays?

Also I think you said everything except start works when the "T" harness is plugged in, do you mean everything on the car and everything on the alarm?

Also, how many extra wires are on the "T" harness, [looks like 3 to me] and where do they go, or are they just "looped" from one plug to the other? 94

yes the black/white wire have checked and checked and rechecked for power, yes the there are 3 identical black/ white wire and a green wire going to the relay.
yes everything works, gauges, cdplayer, turnsignals, hieadlights, etc. im not really sure what the other wires go to they are only on the harness. I went to the acura dealership today and they did't have any techs on today so i scheduled an appt. for mon. so i'll let u know thanks for all the reply's!!!!!!!!
