Default steering problem.

okay, i just changed my clutch and flywheel and i have unfortunatly encountered another problem. after the installation was done i took my car out for a test drive. it was more like a crash-test drive because i had all my attention focused on holding the wheel. everytime i let go of the steering wheel the car pulls to the right like a bat out of hell. i over heard my friend telling me about his civic and that he had a problem keeping the car stright and that it was pulling to the right. that is the same problem that i'm having. he said that it was the rack and pinion. if it is...what is that and how do i fix it. please help me. i really want to try out my car to the fullest without crashing into the car next to me.
