Default idle speed sensor? newbie

wassup guys i have an 88hf with a 89-90si motor and i was wondering if theres such thing as an idle speed sensor and if so is this what could be making my idle speed all fucked up???

Possible. Electronic Air Control Valve. It is on the back of your intake manifold. There is also a Fast Idle Control Valve which has no electrical sensor but regulates fast idle mechanically which is located underneath your throttle body. Your car also might have a vacuum leak.
