bump 6000 or best offer 2004 rr 4000 miles
if you don't have anything positive to say don't post
if you want to make an offer you are more than welcome
there is no guns on your head saying you have to give me 6000 and keep the bike
damage is very minimum price is negociable want to make that very clear and for those who know about bikes this are very expensive even salvage, clear tittle even more.

Damage is so minimal that the bike was considered a complete loss by the insurance company...
Just so people know...
This is how the Department of Motor Vehicles defines "salvaged":
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Definition of a salvage vehicle.
A salvage vehicle is a vehicle that has been wrecked, destroyed, or damaged to such extent that the insurance company considers it uneconomical to make repairs to the vehicle and the vehicle is not repaired by or for the person who owned the vehicle when the damage occurred.
The California title will contain a notation identifying this vehicle as a salvage vehicle.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This doesn't mean all salvaged bikes are bad, but the price for a salvaged bike, especially an 04 RR which is essentially the same as an 03 should be on par with the status of the title.

But hey, I'm not trying to wreck your sale. You should get more info from your friend and state specifically how the bike got a salvaged title. If it was via theft, then it's not such a big deal.
I just hate when people say that they dropped their bike, broke a mirror and scratched their bar end, and that the insurance company made it "salvaged".

Ok I got the story on the bike my friend was pushed against an electrical pole while trying to avoid an accident and he hit the bike on the right side as you can see from the pics that's were the hit was, then the bike landed on the left side where the headlight is not broken. He was hurt so the bike got towed. When he called the insurance and got all the info, he was given the option to get the bike fixed and keep it after a few days of arguments. He didn't want the bike to be fixed the way it was etc etc long story short since he didn't want the bike he went for the money instead and got a check and kept the bike, so since the suckers couldn't get my friend to fix the bike tru them they salvage the bike not because it was under unrepairable conditions but because they ended up paying for it

Now since I'm selling the bike for him I told him I was going to pick it up, he told me I could ride the bike lol
so I did, the bike runs perfect not problem I inspected the bike myself is now under my position, only thing the bike needs is the front end fairings and headlights everything else is ok I will take pics as soon as I can so you guys can see the damage, I do not understand why it was given a salvage tittle when all it needs to be done is replace the front fairing I'm even thinking I might keep the bike if I can get my friend to make a deal with me. other ways is still for sale the bike rides, bars, frame there is not problems once I take pics you guys can see the damage closely pm me for questions or post

Yea, if you get quotes at the dealer for example, for parts...the price will be steep. If the value is half of the true market value of the bike, the insurance co will generally salvage it.
I had a salvaged f4i, for some rashed fairings, cracked front fairing, scratched headlights, bent brake lever, bent rear brake lever. I got a bill of about $3800. Had it not been salvaged, they probably would have made it salvaged.
He just needs to work on that price a bit. Good luck.

I was thinking more of getting the parts it will need from eBay I already look into it and what it needs can be found for around $250 is not much, head light and upper cowl, I don't really need the bike but is not mine so is up for sale, you guys can make your best offers price is negociable, some1 offered 3500 my friend won't let it go fo that price but thank you anyways
