I've been told that a manual p72 can plug straight into an auto Prelude and run the engine and auto tranny with no problems......but no-one (not even those on PGMFI.org) seems to know why this should be!

Anybody else with any knowledge of this? It would solve alot of problems for me...

It plugs of course, but you have to chip it as you will run lean.

 

When are you gonna try this out and see?

 

As soon as I can get hold of a P72 at a reasonable (ie CHEAP!) price and try it!

I think it'll run rich rather than lean, since we're talking about pulsing 345cc injectors into 2157cc of engine, against pulsing 260cc injectors into a 1598cc engine - works out to something like 10% rich, according to table comparisons in Crome.

I'm searching Ebay daily for a P72 locally - also we have a few import specialist scrapyards over here that may be able to help me out!! Of course, a willing friend with an Integra would be the ideal soluton!!!
