Default $200 integra gsr DC2 restore W/ 1.5 SOHC motor (no 56k)

pics on the second page
updated pics on the third page also

Here are a few of the shots when I picked the shell up at the end december. It came in race ready condition, even came with a fuel cell. But I wanted the car for the street. So I began searching for parts and the d swap

pics as of feb 16, its not complete buts its comming along pretty well. Its my daily driver even though the paint is an eye sore.

Also I was able to get the OEM keyless entry and security system working with the help of the previous owner. It seems that the OEM security systems in tegs are pretty rare since it was a dealer install option.

Its powered by a d16z6 and si tranny.. its not fast at all, but it not so slow that its dangerious. I have to stay 4k+ rpm most of the time for power. I have more pictures and stories to go with it at http://forum.tullostech.com/index.php?topic=39.0, but that link does not have the lastest pictures.

Nick

Yea, I had to drive 8 hours to get that dash, its from a 99 gsr. I also got black carpet to match. I had to hunt to find the black interior, i would not put that tan crap in my car. Ive always wanted leather and I lucked out when I got a leather steering wheel and seats which is a very nice upgrade from my del sol's cloth.

As for an engine shot, I will do that next time i have the camera out. it was a very easy swap, its just a reverse b series swap. I'm running a skunk ecu harness and a p28. Like i said in the previous post, its not fast, but its not dangerously slow. I wonder if the z6 was ever put in a vehical that weights 2,900lb.

i got the suspension off my del sol which is h&r race springs on blues all around. I also go the wheels of my del sol which are 92-93ish gsr wheels. I havnt put much money into the car but I really like what I have done with it. I was going to put a sterio in the car but I opted to just install ebay special($30 shipped) 1 gig mp3 player and 4 channel amp which actually sounds pretty nice even though I only have two speakers hooked up.

No the motor just floats there.

He prolly used stock Civic d-series mounts... seeing how the Civic and Integra share the same shell.

it came with abs, but i just swapped in non abs axles so i dont have abs yet. I bought the car as a very minimal shell. It didnt come with front brake hardware/fuel tank/exhaust/blower/ac/seats/heater/ecu/air bags/sunroof/front or rear wipers motors/no interior plastics/motor/tranny/shift linkage/ suspension/interior/ etc.. just look at the wheel gap when the car is trailored.
