Hey I have a 89 civic EX 4dr and i have been looking for the cleartaillights for the last 2 years to find out that that they were banned and taken out of service in 1999. . Where I live at there 100% legal with the use is red taillight bulbs. I know there is some warehouse that has a few of them that are still in good to excellent condition or there is someone who has a pair. So if anyone does or anyone knows where I can get a pair for let me know.

yeah 1 that is really stupid and you should be smacked 2 you'd probably have better luck in the apearance forum and you will probably still be told that they want to smack you.

 

Ebay is your best bet. I have seen some nice clear lights that some heated up took appart and painted them completely red. It looked very nice.

 

daym leave the guy alone. If you cant say anything helpful, dont reply at all. Thats what he likes, let him be.

I dont want to bring this guy up anymore, since you dont even know the whole story. Money was refunded to him, he received the product. Now we're out our money and he got free product. I hope you find what you are looking for. have you tried posting a Want to Buy in the classifieds? try that and other forums also.

 

Really? You can kick any EF out of the garage...well I have access to a 12.3 second 1/4 mile EF who is going to go even bigger and badder for next year, right now it's getting a roll cage. Still wanna race? I'll bet the car you will lose. Shut your mouth. Here, alot of the EF are in the 13s, you think your D16A6 can rock a built B18? Ya ok.

Anyways, rice isn't really welcomed here. But if you are looking for that stuff ebay is your best bet. They are super easy to find for the CRX and the hatchie, but the 4dr is a rarety. Try google searching the **** out of it. I'm sure someone makes it. But they look shitty. I'm gonna go find some pictures.

Here's how my hatch looked the day I bought it. Thank god I found a parts car and got some stock ones back on it, these looked like crap.

After having these for that period of time, I cannot imagine why anyone would want them.

I personally think that that look is the WORST look ever. A set of clean stock tail lights with stock body on some small light rims is the best look. Black with dark black tinted windows is the best look.

 

i have a set of clears for the 88-91 crx/civic Hb
they only use three of the lights for your tails
its kind of cool cause the blinker lights up the whole side corner orange, Very different

and i want to sell them
mine has two small cracks
not noticable really

 

That's another thing about them. They are cheap and are made from cheap plastic, they always crack/leak.

i know alot of the people that hang out in the ef civic / crx forum... and believe me thats not a smart thing to say... expecialy since you cant prove it...

anywyas try checking the apc website http://www.americanproductscompany.com just be patient it will be up and running this spring...

imo there ugly as hell, but for some reason we get people from out of teh u.s. that want them all of the time
