Default Axles: h series vs f series

does anyone know if h and f series axles are interchangeable? ie: can f series axles be used on my h22a? and vice versa

im guessing yes since f series trannys can be bolted to h series blocks, but i jsut want to make sure.

edit: looked up the part numbers and they are different

lol id like to know to, ive never really got any good answers about the f22 to h22, im doing just a swap out in my 4th gen, im pretty sure the mounts work, im doin obd1 so everything should be okay there too...and im pretty sure the axles work. the only thing i know ima have to do is wire the vtec selnoid since my f22 harness dosent come with it....correct me if im wrong

They are not the same strength. I have a copy of Honda tuner and they swapped an H22 into an Accord. They said that the H22 axles are stronger.

They aren't interchangeable either (except passenger side). The F series halfshaft is female on the outer end while H series are male.

If you use matching axles & halfshaft then you can go either way, but if the H's are stronger then that's the best way to go.

1st what car is the 22 in?

I once had my 22 in an accord, I used accord axles, I honestly don't see how one would be stronger than the other, I have rebuilt f and h axles, exactly the same inside and out, both rated for 200whp like any other honda axle. You can use accord axles you just gotta use the accord half shaft, because of the male/female ends mentioned above.
