Default Need advice

I'm thinking about getting Tokico illumina's with eibach pro kit springs. Would this be a good street and track set up? and also what is a good camber kit?

Street yes, track not so much

Track think about more adjustability in the dampers and ride height

your looking at about 400-450 for the parts you mentioned save up the extra 250 and get the tein basic coilovers they should suit your needs well!

It's an excellent setup for either; but not at the same time. You can have any rate to suit your needs on the GCs, but the rates you need are different for street and track.

I'm running 400/500 rates and it's pretty uncomfortable on the street, but I could use higher rates on the track. It's a compromise.

I'm guessing you'll be mostly cruising around, so start with the standard rates, and go from there. You don't need a camber kit, but you do need to get an alignment.

That setup has nothing on a good GC setup.

I was looking at the Tein's too. I will probly go that route, but I do need a camber kit because I can't adjust camber on my car, there's simply no way too, I'm in an auto tech class right now and doing just alignment isn't enough.

Tein is the best idea

illuminas are a great shock and reasonably priced too.

pro kits are a great street spring. a decent drop, but wont have to always worry about scraping either. stiffer than stock, but still comfortable. i autoxed and did track days with these springs, i always had fun. it wasnt until i was really competitively racing that i needed to change to a custom rate. i think youll be fine with these springs.

I agree. I ran many track days with my Koni/pro-kit setup and no sway bars. It isn't the fastest out there, but when you're starting out it doesn't matter much. You're going to be slower than your suspension can handle anyway.

as for a good camber kit. It won't be needed for this setup anyway, just get a good alignment and hit the track
