Default Anyone Else Get a Reponse Back on the Fake Ebay Type-R?

My email that was sent out to all the bidders:

>Do you realize you are bidding on a fake Type-R? I am not trying to be mean, but it is fairly obvious this car is fake. The 4 lug suspension is the biggest give away, but the motor area is proof. I have owned 2 real Type-R's and I am very familiar with them. Just trying to help you and others who are bidding on this out. Later...

The one response I got :

Goddamn it, this has to be the 75th ******* e-mail I have gotten, never mind the fact that the auction is OVER and I didn't go over the reserve, so I would not be buying the car ANYWAYS! Do some ******* research, ok? Look on the retraction screen. Whats on there?

Because somebody retracted after me, it went back to listing me as the high bidder, even though I don't have a valid bid.

Please tell whatever message board you came from to stop ******* emailing me

Exactly, he was probably pissed that so many people contacted him.

It didn't help that the stupid thing was on like five different boards, everyone trying to figure out if it was a real R (which it was, just a theft recovery or salvage titled one).

Carfax said it was an R with no damage. Shows you exactly what I have been saying for over a year, Carfax is a f--king ripoff, and is the biggest joke since Altezzas ......

Boy this guy doesn’t quit. He sent me yet another response:

You were supposed to notice on the retraction screen, which you obviously didn't, THAT I WAS THE FIRST ONE TO RETRACT AND STATE IT WAS NOT A REA TYPE R. THAT WAS THE ENTIRE ******* REASON I BID IN THE FIRST PLACE. CONSIDERING THAT, HOW COULD YOU BE OF ANY SERVICE TO ME?

Here’s his email if anyone else thinks about “helping him out” What a ***!

If you knew anything about a Type R you wouldn't of bet on it period ;probably one of his friends came over and broke the news to him that he's a dumb ****...

You are exactly, right, I was pissed about so many people contacting me. When I came across the auction, I found a couple bids on it, and from the pictures, something was awry. Therefore, DOING MY PUBLIC SERVICE, I entered a bid and then retracted it, so in the retraction I could state that IT WAS NOT A REAL R. This was done 30 seconds AFTER my bid.

I HAD NO INTENTIONS OF BUYING THE CAR!

Somebody else went after me, and retracted for the same reason, and by an EBAY glitch, It showed my username as the high bidder.

Then the emails start flooding in. "Dude that isn't a type R, you are a total moron for bidding on it" "Dude, if you want to buy that piece of **** I can sell you xxx and you will like it better"

Or even better were the total jackasses that emailed me thinking I was the SELLER. "You ******* crook, that isn't a type R, you should be ashamed of yourself, I'm gonna notify ebay and get your username revoked...

All this, when ALL I WAS TRYING TO DO WAS A PUBLIC SERVICE! If I'm a dumbshit for notifying the world that it wasn't legit, all of your are **** smoking dumbshits 50 times over for not bothering to do any research before firing off over a hundred e-mails so poorly thought out they make the senders appear to have a collective intelligence slightly greater than aged pond scum.

No reason to get all defensive. People were just trying to help you out. the reason you got 50-75 of those e-mails was becaseu those 50-75 people didn't want you getting screwed over.

Quite frankly, we've had a lot of problems with theft and scammers, so we here on this board are just trying to lend a helping hand. Obviously you can't appreciate that so I would suggest if you have nothing positive to post, go elsewhere.
