Default Stock Sleeves or Aftermarket?

I'm trying to do an All motor build aimed at around 220whp. I want to bore it out to 82mm and stroke it to 92mm so I would be like a 1.95L I believe. Now I am wondering whether it would be possible to make 220whp with that displacement on a daily driven compression.. Meaning running 93 octane. The head would be a port and polished GSR head with a ferrera valve train. So basically I was wondering whether it would be possible for a SOMEWHAT reliable daily driver to hit 220whp with stock sleeves. Thanks

There are a few 1.8L's making over 220whp.

Your power will primarily come from headwork, a good header, and the right combination of cams.

As for the compression for pumpgas, it all depends on how big a cam you want to run. Large cams bleed off a lot of compression, so it is possible to have 13:1 compression or higher and still run safely on 93 octane. If you stick with a mild cam, compression in the low 12:1 area would be ideal.
