Default Yikes. 92-95 Hatch rear sway bar / tie bar / RLCA's problems with intermixing, etc.

I didn't want to buy random blingy parts like DC Sport tie bars, so I researched what I could do, and started purchasing products.

I am doing Koni yellows, Skunk2 coilovers sleeves, SPC rear lower control arms (slightly shorter than stock, which was a + in my case) ....

.... but now I'm getting confused when it comes to tie bars/sway bars.

I wanted to buy an SRR rear lower tire bar for the design that mounts to stock sway bar mount points, but moves the sway bar mount out a bit and wide for bigger bars, BUT.... SRR's sway bar endlinks are not long enough to work in SPC rlca's.

So... if I could ever find a dealer for SRR parts, I could get their tie bar, another sway, and be set... BUT. It's hard to find SRR dealers, and it's almost more effort than it's worth. So I've been looking for other tie bars.

The ONLY one I've been able to find even remotely designed like the SRR is the comptech sway/tie kit. Every other tie bar I've seen has been the two inner bolts only, and really nothing else.

Any suggestion, recommendations? I don't even know of any good sites to be looking for parts.

ASR or A-spec racing. their bar/tie sway setups are ace. Everyone that buys one keeps it for life.

From what I've seen on their site, Password:JDM selling their parts, and another thread on here... the subframe reinforcement does the job I'm looking for in relocating the sway bar, but is a tiebar unecessary then?

And do they only have the straight tube sway bars?

I had the SRR peice you listed above and wasn't impressed with it.

the ASR brace on the other hand is nothing short of awesome.
I use it with an ITR 23mm and everything fits and lines up perfectly.

A lower tie bar can still be used with the ASR brace, but honestly why? The brace itself is stronger than 99% of all the tie bars out there.

I used to have the srr as well i thought it was decent but if i had to do it again i wouldnt use it. bolt up a beaks subframe kit with a nice 21mm sway and call it a day just my opinion

Also if you have a eg and do get the srr tie bar it wont be that color they only come in black/silver but the sway bar for it should be blue

Definately go with the ASR or Comptech swaybar/tiebar combo.
