i got an oppurtunity to get a set of crower camshafts (402) for my 93ls. Will they work good if I will mostly be street, with a little strip racing? I dont want somethin that will tear up my engine, but I want more power.
for the 402's are pretty good, but the 403's are better. But if you're getting a really good deal, than it's probably worth it. You should get more than 10 whp tuned.
Don't get the 403s if you've got anything near 100k miles. Crower is now recommending that spring/retainer kit for a reason!!!! Its a LOT of lift!

unfortunately you can't use type-r camshafts on a 91 integra. your engine is non-vtec and those are vtec cams so you've got and extra lobe which has no where to go in the head. but you could look into crower cams similar to what the original poster of this thread is considering. crane cams also make different grinds that will fit in a non-vtec engine, check out http://crower.com or http://www.cranecams.com/CraneCams.htm to see your possibilities.
as for which would give you more HP, I'm pretty sure the cams would but I'd do the I/H/e ground work first and go with the header. also since your car is now 12 years old, make sure if you do get more aggresive cams (403's for example) that you replace the springs and retainers as well since your stock ones will most likely fail when running under increased lift and duration.
