Uneven drop? Why? i checked everything..PLS HELP
I just dropped my 05 S with 2k on them. I just dropped them today with Bilstein PSS coilover and for some reason, after all the adjustment and measurement that i did, the car is not even. In fact, the rear is perfect, but the fronts are not. The passenger front is actually higher even when i both measure them at the same height...Can someone explain that and pls give me feedback on what to do or something i can check. thanks much guys

if i adjust them, then it defeats the purpose of the shox compression. One side cant travel as much as the other otherwise they will coil bind because the other one has more room to go up and down...u know what im sayin...but then again if it does not settle the right way then i might as well adjust them through the coils..

If you measured the amount or rise on the perches and have definitely adjusted both equally, the first thing I think you should check is your torque on the suspension bolts while it's LOADED.
Raise the car back up, looses all the bolts that are holding pivot points. Then with a second jack, compress the each corner one at a time, and when it's compressed, re-torque all bolts to spec.
The next thing I think you may want to verify is that you are measuring on a level driveway, garage, etc.
Also as an FYI, springs only control ride height and rebound rate. They don't do anything with stroke....that is unless you have a spring that has too many coils that allow for full compression. That would be a sign for a lower quality shock, and I know for a fact that Bilsteins are designed properly. The TUV for German manufacturing definitely ensures of this!

First of all, id like to thank all my fellow member here for giving me a lot of feedback on this issue. The car is in perfect condition. i did what Luder94 asked me to do. Honestly, preloading the suspension helps a lot. Its a night and day difference on the suspension stand. It was uneven before but right after i did what Luder94 asked me to do, the car settles perfect. They are perfectly equal. All i need to do now is just to measure the height of how i want it to be
