Default Real quick question about headlights.

Will the EF hatchback headlights fit onto a crx?

Do the headlights (without corner lights) have to be from the same half gen (as in 88/89, or 90/91, IE, do 91's fit on 89 for example)

Thank you

They do fit I beleive. From year to year too but you will need to get the proper fenders and corner lights to match the headlights. Since the corner lights are different and thats what they use to mount, fenders and headlamp assemblies.

this is not entirely true. yes 88-91 you can use the crx or hatch headlights ( just not the 4 door headlights )

if you have a 88-89 and get headlights from a 90-91 then you need to swap the headlight into your 88-89 headlight buckets ( the black bracket that the corner lights and headlights go into ) and vise versa if you have a 90-91

unless you use the 90-91/vice versa, corner lights as well

well i always wanted to convert to 90/91 corners anyway and i got a 90si parts car to do it from, but i didnt see anyway to do so

what part exactly do i need to swap out and put on the other one

i'd love to do the swap

at this point im getting really close to the 90/91 spec for my 89si

i have left this
-rear disks (i have them)
-all around moldings
-rear bumper
-corners
-tails

and i do believe that is all

what i've done
-dash (yes the dash itself is a little different)
-seats
-front bumper
-guage cluster
-hazard switch

for the corners just take the entire headlight assemblys from the 90/91 and the fenders. not sure if there are any other wholes to drill but it should be a bolt on affair
