are you using the Halfshaft?

if your using the ZC tranny you need the halfshaft and 90-93 teg axles

If your using stock DX, SI tranny, no need for halfshaft and use Si, or DX axles.

but what i was thinking is this..... tell me if it make any sense

using the si axels that fit in the tranny and changing the end that doesn't fit in the knukkle by the stock one ( dx )

know........ one other thing.... is those two axels different dx and si...... if yes than it should work...... if not...... only god knows

It sounds like you have the wrong axle. Same thing happended to me. I bought both axles from Pep Boys and one of them was wrong.

is it possible that the axles you bought from the yard might be from a std civic or did you see them pull them from the car. i was just thinking that they just pulled a couple of axles from two dif. civics and one was a std. just a thought. and if you buy axles from a store they are usally remans and the raman. places do not spec the ends they just rebuild and ship out so that is why you get wrong ones sometimes cause people like me give back the wrong cores in the origanal box.

i wont even buy anything from a yard unless they let me pull it myself or i will point to the part i want. i hate it when they ask "what year is your car" so i try to just tell them excatly what part i want. glad to hear you got your car figured out.

why the hell are you using junk yard axles???? Dude go to RAxles.com and get your axles there. It is worth the money!!!! They give a discount for crx'rs from what Ive heard also they have tons of crx axles in stock.

i remember when i went to pick up a new set of axels for my 88 civic hatch, that they offered two dif. counts of splines or teeth on the end of the shaft. im thinking that that could be your problem. because if you have any extra splines it will not fit.
