Default This doesn't look right......

92' CX Hatch
Stock Shocks
Sunk 2 Coilovers

I noticed when I jacked up the drivers side of my car the other day that that coilover drops down where as the passenger side doesn't.

I am able to move the drivers side coilover up and down the shock when the wheel is on the ground but this just doesn't seem right.

I'd like to help, but I have no idea what you're saying. Can you get pics or something?

Sounds like you're collars are too loose. Not sure what kind you are using, but you might have one or two rings that thread up and down on the body. If the spring (not the coilover - coilover is used to refer to the entire spring/shock assembly as one) has a lot of up and down play on that corner, then you need to screw those two collars upwards so that the spring sits snug in its seat even during full extension (like when you jack up that corner).
This would've also caused a pretty noticeable height imbalance between sides; you didn't notice anything out of place when the car was sitting on the ground?

The car sits perfectly even all around. Correction though, the spring doesn't move but instead the coilover sleeve does. I was told about the screws that hold it in place and that they are either missing or loose so tomorrow I'll check that out, totally forgot to look at that. I was in a hurry so I said expletive it and left, plus I hate doing work on my car in the single digits.

So what do you mean by this? I'm still confused...
