Default hooking up ipod

ok i was trying to hook my ipod up to my deck (alpine-9847). they are no aux ports on my deck and i dont wanna pay for the apline ipod adapter. is there any other way took hook it up?

If your deck has no aux inputs, and it has a cd changer port (or ai net or whatever Alpine calls it), then you can get an aux input adapter on eBay or most other car stereo shops that convert that port into an aux input.

just pay for the freakin Ai-Link to aux adapter. 20 bucks at best buy. and itll work with anything that has a headphone plug

Do you not have the owners guide? if not go to alpine.com and download it, you have to turn on the AUX it is in the setup menu press and hold setup button for at least 2 sec. use << >> to select setup menu, press band button to change the setting from off to on. 94
