Default 1/4 mile trap speed of 104 mph what is the 1/4 time potential?

Just thought I would ask this past weekend I had a serious glitch in the vtec system I ran a trap speed of 104 mph and am wondering what 1/4 mile potential that is. H22 crx masaged over. 195 50 r15s. The car this past weekend would just die off the line and at mid track the car just pulled like a beast. Basically could only play catch up. Also vtec was glitching due to the vafc and spoon chip took out the vafc and its fine and pulls like it should. Best time past weekend was 14.3 with the glitch that I am guessing would cost me atleast 1/2 second

hmm that was kinda my guess too and I kinda think it may be achievable on street tires 15" tenzo r sinkos and 195 50s but not too likely unless i get some sticky tires...

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Manuel &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">With that trap speed of 104mph your CRX can run High 12.sec</TD></TR></TABLE>

Drivivng the **** out of it with a 1.6-1.7 60 ft. will get you a 12.8-12.9....

Last time I raced I trapped 102 mph on 22x8x13 slicks at hit 13.2 untuned with a 1.74 60 ft time.

how did the car just "die" off the line? did you bog it or spin?

the engine bogged like crap off the line and then it was catch half way down the track. Also still tryin to knock down the perfect rpm which to launch tried 3k rpm looks to be working as long as I get the tires HOT, my average 60' this past weekend was 2.5 no good, we tried a few things with the vafc no luck tho the glitch of vtec was still there took the vafc off and pulls like a mother...so we will see what it can do this weekend or next since the track is open, just curious of what u guys think...

104mph on street tires, I would give mid 13's. If he was slicks, his mph would drop to 100-101 imo.

I would say a high 12 with a good 60' and an ideal run, otherwise it should probably net you mid to low 13's

high 12's, see sig. It's AWD and on street tires and could be improved but the 1.74 60ft got me the time you see.

14.1 was my best this past weekend track conditions werent ideal to later in the day. Consistant trap speeds of 103 mph. My ideal run went bad and costed me a long block live and learn. I havent checked it yet but looks to be a rod or bearing maybe a dropped bent valve. Went from 3rd to second. 10k rpm no good. That run I had the best 60' of the day 2.3 and ended up with a 14.4@ 80 mph. So where is the last 23 mph? lol probably would of gotten deep into the 13s. Anyways live and learn and will be back stronger soon enough.
