Default AHHHH!!! Please help me! (92-95 civic coupe hybrid)

Some of you may recall my post a couple days ago about the cost of an h22 installation in the mentioned car. Now i have been weighing some more options and i am more confused than ever. Basically i have a goal... and i want the cheapest most effective way to reach it. I would like to be putting down around 220-250 whp. I was looking at hmotors and saw the ls b18b longblock for 750! I began thinking about dropping that in (it would be easier than an h swap for a noob like me) Then turboing that.... But that just led to many other questions? so here goes... i searched but i figured u guys would know best.

1. What tranny would be the most cost effective to use with the b18b? Should i buy and ex instead of the dx for the better tranny? does that matter? or should i try to find a cheap b16 tranny? Or should i just use the ls? although ive heard the gearing is too long?

2. Is it even a good idea to swap the b18b over the z6 if i bought an ex? Could that money be better spent rebuilding that motor and spending more on quality parts for the turbo setup?

3. If you were in my situation what would you do? rebuild the z6 motor and turbo it? swap the b18 and turbo it? or swap in the h22 and do bolt ons and like a 50 shot?
(keep in mind im tryin to do this the most cost effective way with the least headaches!!) Thanks a lot!!!

If i was you.. I would try to score a whole b18a or b swap.. I would try to use a b16 or gsr tranny. and i would run away from a h swap... score a ls .. and a gsr or b16 vtec head.

An ls motor boosted and tuned will take 280-330 at the wheels.. stock.

dont pay over 500 for a LS motor b18 A/B. unless it has everything on it..

You can find motors on here all day long. I just bought an h22 full swap for 1100 and thats including axles and everything. Why does your sig have a 95 vtec lude in it and your wondering about a civic hybrid. b16 tranny will cost you somewhere in the 700 range. h22 is not that hard of a swap I have never done a swap before ever and im doing it all by myself. If you get an ex model your best bet is to do the ls-vtec because your already wired for vtec with your d16z6.
