QUESTION ON BUYING CRX
ok well about a year ago my friend got the cleanest crx ive ever seen and and sold it for 1500 to his buddy (had no motor) now a year has gone buy and the guy he sold it to is now selling it, when my buddy sold it to him it came with thermal exhaust, konig rims (look like the circuit 8s) zex nitrous system, ground control coilovers, gt steering wheel. and prolly lil more stuff, well he sold the nitrous system, sold the rims, took the coiolvers but put stock si ones on, might of taken the exhaust, sold the steering wheel, and either now has steelies or rims from a 2000 civic. and it has black leather seats with red outline.
the car has no rust at all, clean fresh carpet, shiny paint, GREAT condition w/o motor
he says hes sellin it and to make a good offer
how much should i offer him for it? im guessing 900-1000
Sure?
Someone will flame you and say you are going to overpay and then mention the killer deals everywhere but where you are.
Ask your self this"
Are there many other clean shells around?
Now if you didn't know how much he paid and say it was in the paper would you think it was a fair price?
Either way good luck

damn dude thats a great price, well the guy is sellin it for 1500 comes and it DOES have the coilovers and i think SI rims, but it is seriously the cleanest crx ive ever seen..no joke...i think im goin to offer him somthin bettween 1000-1500 maybe 1200
if you are BUYING a shell and want a pristine one right away, you are at the mercy of the market. there just arent a lot of super-clean unmolested shells running around. buy it for the price range you stated and don't look back. a couple hundred bucks is nothing if it is as clean as you say it is and it's local.
if you were SELLING it, well, there aren't all that many people looking for shells either, so having one can be a pain in the *** to unload. figure out how bad he wants it out of his yard, and act accordingly on your opening offer. i'd start at 500 and see how hard he balks. but regardless of the settling price, if it were me i'd end up going home with it at the end of the day.

add all the **** that was on the car when it was first sold then minus it from 1500 boom ... or you can say 600 and have a discussion about it ... hahaha

i'd start lower- 700 sounds almost like a thousand if you dont remind them how close to 600 it is.
you also know just how much he actually has into it, so why let him profit a lot off it?
