0-60: 8.4 sec .. good or bad?
I'm running a d16y8 with h/i/e
manual tranny (S20)
Stock Ecu (Automatic Ecu, didnt change it after swapping a manual tranny)
Broke Engine mount (1 mount)
Broke Tranny mounts (2 mounts)
The Clutch aint that good although its oem clutch
My 0-60 is 8.4 sec's launching @ 5k rpm .. is it good or you think it should be better?

when I 1st read topic title, I thought it meant quater mile, 8.4 seconds, good or bad? I was like: "is this guy on meth?"
It's good for what you have wrong with it, u should definately consider replacing the mounts..

i think you could do better, i have a d15b vtec (basicaly the same as your set up, performance wise) i got an 8.3 with a passenger and winter tires in sub-zero weather, with a very easy launch.
My y7 does about that, and I got the bolt ons too.
Your time seems just about by the book. Fix your motor mounts, and maybe a replacement clutch may help.
ALSO, get better tires, cause 5,000 RPMs is gonna wreak havoc on your clutch. Killing your clutch isnt worth an extra tenth of a second. Go to 3,000 I say and engage quickly then floor it.

Very true.
Why do you want to know if it's right or not? Are you wondering if there was work done to your motor before you bought the car, or are you trying to figure out if you have severe problems other than the mounts and stuff?
How did you measure the time... Gtech?
