Default Header Pipe nut frozen

I am trying to unscrew the 3-14mm nuts that are screwed to the header pipe. I am in the process of changing the oil pan gasket.

I used a 14mm deep socket + breaking bar and it started slipping. I dont want the nuts to get rounded. Is there a way or another type of socket to loosen it?

93 Civic 4 Dr LX, Auto, 175k miles

Thanks

squirt some PB Blaster on them and let it sit for a while. If that fails and you can't get them off w/o stripping them, check and find the the next smaller size in the SAE equivilant socket and knock it on there and bust it loose.....

That or just take a torch to it, get it hot, and then unscrew it.... Or just get the engine nice and hot, then try...

Just go at it with a grinder.

If your car is anything like mine was those bolts are not coming off.

Update:
Thanks to all of you. I sprayed WD40 when the engine was a little hot, had to remove the heat guard. 6 hours later managed to unscrew it with a breaker bar and some extra muscle. This weekend I will change the oil pan gasket.

I dont want to open another thread but I have a few questions.
1)The PCV valve is located at a wierd place how do you remove it . Do you have to pull the hose from under the intake manifold and then pull the PCV from top? or - - -.
2) I want to degrease the arrea around the engine. Is there a good product for this?

Thanks again

Dan
