Default check engine light blinking?

usually when the ecu would throw a code before the yellow check engine light would be solid, but now it just blinks every couple seconds, also it isnt always like this, just randomly. i have searched but still now sure.its a 90 crx with b16 obd0 thanks in advance

could have a short to ground thats maknig the light flash.

could be anything say a short in a sensor like ur tps is half way plugged in

is it only at high rpms? if so its your knock sensor i had the same thing happen to me i believe its code 23 check the sensor itself to see if its tight then go for the wiring good luck

no it seems like it happens randomly even at idle sometimes. i havent checked the ecu because i put the cover back on while ago and havent had time to take it off.

dud i had the same thing happen to my car, i swapped my motor from one car to another and when i drive, i get a blinking cel and no code. i checked ad rechecked my connections so i got fed up and just clipped the cel wire, its not the best thing to do but every now and then i just check my ecu.

damn, allrite, i checked most of the connectors and everything was tight, no cel yet, hopefully it will stop.

it came back, exteremly cold day in the midwest today, when i turned the car on it went on and kept blinking. i hate this cel

on a obd-0 car??

tighten your thermostat ground (and clean it up)
