those aren't JDM taillights and ebay is your best friend for these taillights, just search EBAY and you will find em.

I think those started off as all clear, and then they probably got a ticket for it and painted the bottom half red. But those arent JDM for sure

nah they come like that, they dont look all that bad, they are designed to resemble the 99-00 si tails and IMO they compliment a well-built car...no one in here will like them because they arent JDM

are they even street legal? most of those bullshit ebay taillights are 'for off road use only'. if so, that really gives you a good idea of their quality.

Just my opinion, those things are ricey as hell, and I'm not just saying that because they aren't JDM or something stupid like that. Personally I just think they don't go well with the car.

I wouldn't use them mainly because my stock Del Sol tails are in perfect condition and look great. Not only that but 99% of ebay lights that are not street legal. Seeing as how they aren't street legal, a cop will just pull your *** over for them and have you pop your hood. Bam owned.

I can't believe the whole oem bandwagon thing has gotten to the point that red/clear tails are ricey. They deliver a very subtle update to an older car... no one can tell that something's different unless he knows what to look for.

Like everyone else said, Ebay's probably your best bet

they are clean. people stop saying things are rice.

so people who have a 97 civic dx should be called ricers because they bought 00 civic ex tailights????

they also look good with the clear part smoked

When I got mine, they didn't make red/clear for 92-95. Only stupid Euro lights... so I found a set of clear talights, masked them off and painted myself.

I'll bet you could never tell.

The thing I hate about red/clears is that they never seem to be waterproof! I've gone through three sets and all three have had water leak inside after rain or a car wash.

"Use silicon to seal it." Well, I shouldn't have to buy something that requires me to take my time and seal it. So back to OEM I went.

I've seen some of the original 92-95 APC Euro/Altezza lights modified so that the tail light parts were painted over. They looked similar to the lights in the original post, but when the tail/brake lights were lit you could see the oval shape. It actually didn't look too bad.
