today when i was driving i was shifting back into first but had trouble putting it in gear so when i stopped i couldnt get into any gear, so i turned my car off and i got into all gears fine. so i tried to start it in 1st while holding the clutch pedal down and my car shifted foward and died out.

but it wouldnt let me out when i started it in first again so i had to shut the car off to get it out. when i tried to put it in gear while holding the pedal down the car wouldnt go into gear and idle dropped low and almost died. Now its running fine, could it be my master cylinder or what?. I have a new clutch with at least 20k miles with no problems my engine has 131k miles?? sorry for the long input, need help. Thanks
