Is there a way to connect cell phone mp3 to aux in?
I know I could just buy an Ipod, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to connect a cell phone with a mini USB port to aux in on a deck? I was wondering if there is a Mini USB to rca cable or if I could take a ear phone cable and splice in rca's?
I'm sure that someone makes an adapter cable to go from the headphone jack on your phone to RCA's.
Is the jack on your phone a regular 3.5mm mini jack?

Damn motorola phones... Always gotta be difficult...
If it's only got the charger port on it, then your only hope is to maybe get ahold of a set of headphones for that phone, cut the cord and try to splice on a set of RCA's...
Don't know how well that would work anyway though... I'm sure that there's not that much output voltage from that port, so it might not be very loud if you hook it to a deck... :shrugs:
Dunno...

radio shack has adaptors. go from the cell phone plug to the 1/8" plug. you just wont be able to wire a mic to it, but who cares. get some velcro and make it so you can mount your phone above the headunit, i almost guarantee they'll be able to hear you
*edit* by cell phone plug i mean the earphone plug you're talking about
