AEM 3" CAI > J's Racing. There's a thread regarding this and the J's is simply all hype, and not worth the money.

Power wise I agree. But it rains a decent amount here so I stick with the SRI. Got my fake J's Racing for $50

Yes that is if your looking for PEAK power. The J's in not intended for peak power, its for throttle response.

Kevron rocking the J's

I think for the price el cheapos are still the way to go.

For bling factor I might change but right now my Ractive SRI and K&N filter work good for less then 100.

throttle response for what - your engine "reving up" faster in neutral or the clutch in does nothing for actually going faster? lightening the flywheel or simply getting a tuneup will do a better job. or if you want the ultimate response get a 1.5L single cam

For a street car the 3inch AEM CAI 1 piece is the best. I actually have silver one f/s 1 month old I should probably post up now that It doesn't fit with my new motor.

i did read the thread it wasnt really informative it was more like people praising

there j's racing intakes midrange power and the cost effectiveness which is a plus

but no one really mentioned how the other intakes performed compared to it

which is what I was looking for. Im more interested in drag racing so im looking

for a higher output. What im planning on using is a 3 aem itr with a velocity stack

but, wanted to see how they performed if the extra cash was worth it. oh yead

sorry if i hit a sensitive spot with this posting i did

do lots of reading i couldnt find what i was looking for ...Thanks
