Default Question about switching civic/integra interiors

Hello, i currently have a 95 GSR, and a 92 CX shell. I am planning on swapping over the motor and suspension/brakes from my GSR. My question is: is the interior easily swapped? I really just want the dash and the HVAC controls from the Integra. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A friend of mine swapped his whole interior out for an integra gsr. Every single piece could be bolted up except the door panels that needed a bit of modification. The dash will go right in, with all of the gsr stuff. Good luck, contasct me for any more info. JBizzy77@aol

Thanks for the help man! Another quick question, is there anything else i can use from the GSR to make the CX better? I mean, i am swapping all the suspension, swaybars, brakes, motor and interior, is there anything else? I see in your Sig something about a GSR subframe, is this the rear subframe??

I used the front sub-frame from the integra. That is the piece that the stering rack, rear mount, and sway bars mount to. If your going with the gsr dash the tach wire is on the driver side harness. It is a little blue wire with an empty connector on it. Hook that up to the gsr tach. Also, any of the gsr suspension/brake /motor parts are a good upgrade for your dx. A nice upgrade is putting the gsr center console into the civic, that always looks good. Keep me posted.

So is there any advantage to the GSR subframe as opposed to the CX subframe? Im assuming the GSR one is stronger possibly? Ill be a regular in the Hybrid forum now that im gonna have a hybrid, thanks guys!

I'm, not sure of any strength related pluses from the integra sub-frame other than that you dont have to swap the mount, steerng rack, sway bars and other stuff off onto the new rack. Just makes it easier. I dont know if mounting holes are there to mount the sway bars. That I have to check.
