Default DA camber kit question

Im pretty low and I need a camber kit. Do you guys know any ones that wont hit the fender? I heard the spc and ingalls hit the fender and im pretty low. Are there some lower adjustment ones out there? Any help is much appreciated.

washers in the rear, but for the fronts there aren't any other choices except custom UCA's.

I think Im gonan just get the upper ball joint ones and either cut out my inner fender or bang it up. I might not even need to once I get it on the alignment rack and see how far out I am. I might be able to get back within spec without it even hitting. Longshot but i can hope. thanks man for the reply

why does your camber need to be "in spec" ?

im not going for in spec. I am trying to get it so i dont go through tires quick. My camber is pretty bad. I just want to get it to around -1 or so I dont really care about being in spec.

Toe is what kills your tires. You can have -2.0 degrees camber and 0 toe all 'round and have no accelerated tire wear. If you are going through tires quick, just get the toe set to 0, not close to 0, but exactly 0.

The reason you may want a rear camber kit is to dial out some of the neg camber, too much neg camber in the rear on FWD hondas hinders turn-in feel and ability. I'd say -1.5 in the rear at most seems to help best with turn-in. In the front, around -2 is a good start.

Get an alignment done. The toe is what you should be worried about eating your tires, not camber. My car has some extreme negative camber, but my tires are doing fine.

Adjusting toe will not fix my camber problem and if I dont adjust my camber I will still go through tires.

you just need to fix your toe. again, bad toe is what causes uneven tire wear. negative camber does not. you can have negative camber with good toe and youll be fine. your car will even handle better.

camber is not really a wear angle when it comes to chassis/wheel alignment, it is more of a directional angle. I learned this in my alignment, brakes and suspension class last semester. Toe is both a directional angle and wear angle.

This is an informative thread. I recently took my 95 Accord for an alignment check. I had made some the following changes: Koni Yellows, H&R OE Sport springs, and a 1" front, 1.5" rear drop, 17 wheels with 245/45/17s.

The alignment tech said my alignment was good but my camber was -1.6 rear, -2.1front. He suggested camber kits for both front and rear and explained that I was essentially riding on the inside of my tires. He told me that if I didn't to the kits, I would wear thru the tires fast. Everything else was ok on the alignment.

This thread makes me think otherwise, especially the toe comments. My toe was within specs, alignment not needed. I don't want to spend almost $600 for parts and labor if not necessary.

i've got essentially the same alignment specs as you -1.7 F, -2.0 R and have gotten at least 15000 miles out of my azenis 215's so far with only minimal difference b/w inside and outside tread. there's about a 1/32nd" difference between the tread depths, shallower on the inside.

Camber wears tires slightly. over the course of thousands of miles. but Toe is what really murders them. when camber comes into play is when you've got a non-zero toe angle AND some camber, which leads to even more accelerated wear.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I'll leave things as is and just rotate my tires every 5k. I'm running Pirelli PZero M+S that have a 400 wear rating so hopefully that will help with wear.
