Good / Bad / Nothing To Worry About? (wheel well liners)
How many of you don't have wheel well liners? I noticed today that I don't have any (bought the car as is) and was curious as to if it matters or not.
I've noticed that stuff get's kicked up into your door hinge area but does it harm anything else (engine wise)?
Sorry for the question if it's a no brainer but I've never thought about this or ran into it.
I will be picking some up one of these days but I'd like to know none the less.

i didnt have any on my old 98 coupe. it kind of sucked because i had a CAI for a while and the filter got beat up and it kicked water into my headlight alot.
Yeah I live where it snows and that's what brought it to my attention. I noticed it and was worried about the crank pulley and belt but it doesn't look like there is any sand or water on either and it was wet today....
if it doesnt look like its doing any harm then i wouldnt be in too big of a hurry to replace it. i drove about a year and a half with out any in mine. it was more of a neusance than a problem.
Just make sure wires under there are either tucked up or wrapped in something to keep water out of them. Other than that I have had my liners out since maybe feb. 2005 and I've had no problems.
