Default type s pistons and tuning

if type s pistons are used rather than the jdm pistons, is it necessary to tune, or can the p13 adjust however necessary, the usdm p13 can adjust for the 10:1 to the 10.6:1, so i would assume it would be able to go the extra .4 bump in compression, also what kind of gains would i expect with a stock motor and going from 10.6:1 to 11:1, is it even worth it if the pistons are still in good shape???

imo, ur not gonna notice too much of a difference, its only a .4 jump.

unless ur current pistson are busted dont waste your $ on it.

it might make sense if you were at 10:1 and jump to 11. but from 10.6:1 u might as well just throw in a thinner headgasket and call it a day.

I would just stay with what you've got. You're talking maybe a 2% gain if you went to Type-S pistons.

But yes, the ECU would compensate a little.
