So Ive decided to sell OEM LSD tranny. I got to thinking instead of taking it apart why not just sell the entire tranny and get a cable tranny that will mate to my block. Ive been looking around and it seems that I will want a Y1 tranny ?

Are these easy to find with low miles? Cheap ?


I figure if they are cheap I could sell my LSD GSR tranny, and the hasport hyrdo conversion and have enough money for a Y1 and maybe a quaffe differential.

The Y1 has a lower FD also, which would benefit turbo'ed motors ?
