I have read the "Mahle Pistons thread" and the "FRM with forged pistons thread". i decided that "FRM compatable" pistons are just a band-aid on a bigger problem, i have decided to sleeve my block. Does anyone know where i can get stock iron inserts for my closed deck h22?, i dont want to spend the money for dartons because i have no need for that much of a bullet-proff sleeve. i want to safly run about 10lbs, but do not trust the stock cast piston ringlands. I have a machine shop that will do the sleeve installing for me so i only need the sleeves. but if anyone knows a good deal at a machine shop, i will consider. Any direction is greatly appriciated.

thats what i'v been doin, all i can find is "Send your block here" deals, i cant find just sleeves

 

any local machine shop should be able to get you replacement liners, like LA or clevites
