Default Honda Accord (EG7) stereo install

Hello all, I'm new here. I am attempting to install a stereo head unit into my friend's accord, and I have a few questions.

- The Accord in question is an (CB7)EG7, I think (1993 model)
- Is there anything I should be aware of when removing the stock stereo unit? Reset codes?
- Is there an FAQ for this topic? Or install guide of any kind?
- Anyone who has installed a stereo unit recently, in this gen accord, have any insights or caveats?

I've searched the forums, but can't find any satisfactory results. Thanks in advance for any help

Its a CB7. You will need a harness if your installing an aftermarket head unit. SHould be able to pick up at local audio or automotive store. Try cb7tuner.com they should have something in the audio section there. You have to take out the center console deal its a bitch if your doing it the first time but its easy after that.

take out center console, includes ebrake cover part and the part with the cup holder.

if you have an armrest on your driver seat, you have to take that off as well

then you take out 3 skrews 1 behind the ashtray, two to the left and right of that.

once that is out, there are two skrews that are under the pocket, undo those and the radio comes out.

now you need to install a dash kit, then your new cd player, then skrew everything up reverse of removal
