Default WHAT SIZE TURBO YOUR RUNNING!!

HEY GUYS, I'M RUNNING A T3/T4 60TRIM 63 A/R HOT SIDE. I'M WONDERING IF I WOULD MAKE MORE POWER WITH A BIGGER TURBO. I'M RUNNING 15 PSI RIGHT NOW WITH THE 3MM HEAD GASKET.

I'M THINKING ABOUT GETTING A GT35R, WHAT DO U GUYS THINK?
WHAT R U GUYS RUNNING ON YOUR S2000?

I think the "NO CAPS" turbo is superb.

i think you need to ditch the cheap 3mm head gasket and build a low compression f20c from the ground up if you want to run more than 15psi

it seems like you have a lot of money.

Yeah, go bigger. It'll suit you.

With a log manifold and 0.63 a/r turbine housing, I had full spool by 3500 rpm. With the 0.82 a/r turbine housing, lower compression, and a tubular housing it can spool as late as 6000 rpm depending on load. In 6th gear, I have 16 psi by 4000 rpm. My dyno charts show huge differences in the power band depending on how hard the car was loaded. In real life, it doesn't seem to make much of a difference.

If he had anti lag on then there would be NO lag? You dont run anti-lag in 6th gear, only at a dead stop

GTG4088R would be a monster on the s2000. That thing will make some serious power.

For a street car on a stock engine, id prolly rock a gt30r. For a built motor 600 or so hp use a gt35r. For the monster, i want a ton of power, gt4088R please.

That's what happens with a small A/R ratio turbine housing, + small GT series turbo, + stock 2.2L motor, + log manifold. It was fun for quick spool, but by VTEC felt like crap. It's a MUCH different car now and feels much better.

I have the LoveFab mini me. He also makes a Mini-Me EQ, but upon special order only I think. Still has really short runners, so I don't think it'd make a big difference. The mini me should perform as well as any log style, with the assurance of welded SS and CRS flanges.

The mini-me should perform better than the regular log styles because of it's collector. I think the S2000 mini-me's have equal length headers. I know they are very close in length though, so it shouldn't make a huge difference.

Have a GT35R myself.
