Default Alright Bike Experts..

I want to purchase a bike, and was wondering if you guys think the suzuki gsx-r 750cc, or the Yamaha R6 is better? Each would be the 2002-2004 model.

HELP PLEASE!

I would go with the R6 for that fact that they are not that much slower then the gixxer and your insurance will be lower on the R6.

this is a stupid comparison because they're two different categories of bikes... One's a 600cc super sport ranging from carbed to fuel injection over that time span and the gixxer 750 is a perfect mix between liter and 600cc bikes. I don't care if you've ridden motorcross sine you were 1 the 750 is not a beginner bike and neither is the r6. I have friends who started on the r6 but I still think a more tame 600 is better. aka f4i

The Suzuki GSXR750 changed from 2003 to 2004. The R6 was likewise changed from 2002 to 2003. All things considered, the 750 makes a damn fine choice for a motorcycle. Also, the abundance of spares, aftermarket support, and possible sharing of parts between the 600/750/1000 GSXRs mean you have a wide variety of options. The R6 also has a large aftermarket support.
