Default Tokico Illumina Coilovers are great!!

I just want to put it out there that this setup works nice. They are so easy to adjust both height and dampening. And for $700 they are hard to beat IMO.

For 700 bucks it is full coilovers...not just springs and struts. Yes it is the RAK kit. eBay had them...I am pretty sure the guy sells them still...they are a company outta Vegas. Best deal on these that I could find.

Yeah cause they retail for like 900 for the coilovers. Now if you have the spring/strut combo then I could understand that price. 500 sounds right for those

I got them two years ago through Ground Zero Motorsports here localy. They are the RAK and apparently I got hooked up. Maybe they charged me the wrong price? But anyway I paid a little less then 500 for the threaded body Tokico RAK coilovers for my del sol. They are pretty sweet. I use to have Koni yellows with brand X coilover sleeves on my old hatch. They handled awesome but were a little rough driving around town. The RAK's are a little less agressive but a much nicer ride overall.

I hope this is not late but DON'T use your stock dust covers in the front. You will hate life if you do. Hope you do not get this too late.

Sorry so late...the ones on the front on my car started hitting the top of the threads. I also had the metal dust covers. If you do not have those, then forget I opened my mouth. If you did.....and the start clunking...you may need to take them out.

what threads? i cant figure out what youre talking about. please clarify.

coilover sleeve? in that case, you NEVER use dust cover with coilover sleeves.

threads on top of the shock piston? what, hitting what? did you forget the big washer?

They hit the top of the coilover body threads. I did not know any better when I put my set up on.
