Have any street Hondas in MN hit 10's yet? I know you guys were riding the 11 second mark with 130+ traps last year...

there was a guy that went 10's back in the late 90's. paul could tell you who it was. i dont know if shang has cracked into the 10's either. he's close though.

 

we had a customer doing 11.1's in his hatch.. no 10's though

 

Tom vang went mid 10's back in like 97ish?

 

we've bested 11.19@134mph in our street setup....1.89 60ft no stripping except for the back seats...full cage..everything in tached!!! even a sound system..

upgrading to 6800sqft shop ... need space due to more lifts(general repair), fabing and maybe dyno

10.18@146mph was our drag car's best!!! NO MORE car for us
"traction was a big problem...didn't hook up until like almost 9K in 3rd gear"

delsol: owner gave up to setup his own Mway/internet business!!! misshifted from 3rd to 2nd @130mph and BOOOOOM!!! blew up and rolled in at 11.4@125mph or so!!! was going on for a 10.50@140-45ish or so run.. remember full street car!!! too bad for him!!!

I may build my own, but a few guys are asking for sponsorship, so i may sponsor maybe 2 cars this year!!!

i thought these were full drag cars running 10s in MN

in 00-01 we went 10.7s on stock sleeves and SRP slugs... but in a drag car

 

thats too bad bee.... the super special boost controller he had on that del sol couldnt stop it from blowing up

i myself am building a new motor for the mr2.. alum rods, custom pistons, gt42r, nitrous...yadda yadda.. i would like to touch 9.49 this year

 

hehe true that.... the boost controller he had was a good one too.. AMS!!! heard it works good, but he didn't use it yet.... he wanted to get used to the car first, but big mishap for him!!! oh well!!!

yeah, it was a drag car...he bested low 11's even before then in street form

KIND OF funny bro.. we are moving NEXT DOOR...to the V8 shop that's moving out...hehe!!!

 

2004 it bested 11.19@134mph... good candidate for some 10sec runs this year with more boost and better launching...
